OCEAN COUNTESS With her distinctive traditional profile, the 800 passenger Ocean Countess joined the Cruise & Maritime Voyages fleet in April this year under charter from the widely respected and long established Majestic International Cruises Group. The ship originally entered service as the Cunard Countess and became one of the best-known ships to sail the Caribbean Sea. Cruise & Maritime Voyages aim to offer a more traditional and leisurely style ‘no fly’ cruising and maritime experience where the emphasis is very much on providing attentive service within a friendly ‘home from home’ atmosphere.
On board public facilities include the comfortable Holyrood Show Lounge, the Tower Piano Bar on Lido Deck with its panoramic views, well-stocked library and card tables and, by contrast, Hamptons is the place to be for late night entertainment and to try your luck in the casino. Ocean Countess offers traditional two sitting dining in the Kensington Restaurant or, as an alternative, enjoy a light lunch at the Boat House on Upper Deck or by the pool on Lido Deck (both subject to weather conditions). During the evening, the Boat House becomes a delightful venue for pre-dinner drinks and to chat with fellow passengers after another wonderful day ashore.
In addition, Ocean Countess provides a shopping gallery, internet café, gym with sauna and spa, and massage, hairdressing and beauty facilities. She offers extensive deck areas, deck games, a generous size heated swimming pool, two whirlpools and a pool bar.
Stylish Entertainment A superb programme of stylish daytime and evening entertainment has been arranged plus informative guest lectures given by a food and wine expert. Following dinner the highly acclaimed show team display their talents in a colorful floorshow complemented with our carefully chosen guest entertainers from Ireland. And our late night cabaret in Hamptons will ensure that your evenings keep going with a swing.
