Sample Itinerary

Day 1 to 3 - Lourdes

Direct flight to Lourdes. Coach transfer to your hotel for three nights accommodation including breakfast, lunch and evening meal.

In Lourdes you will enjoy an introductory tour of the Grotto Domain and visit the Grotto, Baths, Basilicas and Stations of the Cross. Take part in the Blessed Sacrament procession and torchlight procession. You will also take a walking tour of Lourdes visiting the Boly Mill, where St. Bernadette was born, the Cachot, where she lived with her family during the hard times, the Hospice, where she made her First Holy Communion, the parish Church, which houses her baptismal font, and the Cemetery where the Soubirous family are buried.

Day 4 - Rocamadour

Drive to Rocamadour; tour the monastic city of St. Amadour visiting the Church of the Black Madonna and the Miraculous Bell. Enjoy dinner and overnight in your hotel in Rocamadour.

Day 5 - Nevers

Drive to Nevers. Visit the Convent of St. Gilard, attend Mass and see the body of St. Bernadette. Transfer for dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 6 - Paris

Drive to Paris. Panoramic tour of Paris and its attractions including the Eiffel Tower, L’Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysées, the Louvre and Notre Dame Cathedral. Visit the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal and see the body of St. Vincent de Paul. Enjoy dinner and overnight in your hotel in Paris.

Optional: Night-time cruise on the River Seine.

Day 7 - Lisieux

Drive to Lisieux. Visit places associated with St. Thérèse including the Buissonnets, Carmel Chapel and museum and attend Mass in the Basilica. Enjoy dinner and overnight in your hotel in Lisieux.

Day 8 - Return home

Coach transfer to airport in Paris for return flight to Dublin.
