Pattaya comes alive at night, offering a large selection of adult orientated bars and all-night discos for those who wish to party into the small hours. Downtown Pattaya is also known for its red light district and is, therefore, not suitable for children.

Coral Island: Why not take a relaxing day trip by boat from Pattaya town to Coral Island? Here you will discover some lovely beaches for swimming, sunbathing and water sports. It is well worth taking a glass-bottomed boat to see the coral reef.
Markets: Don't be afraid to bargain with the stall traders at the various markets, it is part of the culture and you can scoop some good bargains if you hold your nerve and agree a price that is fair to both  parties.
