SKI IN THE PYRENEES
The Pyrenees are full of well-maintained ski runs, where the sport takes priority over all-night bars and discos. Many of the resorts in the region were thermal spa centres before expanding into snow-based activities and tend to be less crowded and less expensive than other French resorts.

LA MONGIE
The largest ski resort in the Pyrenees, La Mongie is part of the famous Tourmalet ski area with access to over 130 ski runs. Intermediate and advanced skiers are guaranteed to have lots of space on the pistes while beginners get more time with their instructors in this rather quiet ski resort.
Where we stay?
Le Relais des Pyrénées was purposely built to accommodate athletes attending cycling training camps in the Pyrenees and is perfectly suitable for student groups. The hotel is located in Bagnères-de-Bigorre, a small town famous for its thermal spa facilities, one of the finest in Europe. La Mongie and Lourdes are just a short 20km drive away as well as the Pic du Midi and its famous astronomical observatory.
