Transport & Accommodation

Tours & Activities

·      Day 1 Morning flight and transfer on arrival at Charleroi; guided tour of the Mons area, where the first and last shots of the war were fired.

·      Day 2 Full day tour of the Ypres Salient area; visit to the Messines battlefield and Island of Ireland Peace Park; attend the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate.

·      Day 3 Excursion to the Somme region visiting the Somme 1916 Trench Museum, La Boiselle crater, the Ulster Tower, Newfoundland Park and local memorials.

·      Day 4 Guided walking tour of the medieval town of Bruges and free time for sightseeing or shopping; transfer to Brussels airport for return flight to Dublin.
