St. Anne de Beaupré |
|
| Joe Walsh Tours are delighted to offer a pilgrimage to St. Anne de Beaupré in Canada. This small village, north east of Quebec, is home to the Basilica of St. Anne de Beaupré, known as a place of miracles. When the original church was being built, one of the builders, who had scoliosis, and needed a crutch, was miraculously able to walk upon completion of the church. Today, the Basilica is home to the only copy of Michelangelo’s Pieta. The original lies in the Vatican City. Inside, the Scala Santa are built in imitation of the Holy Stairs in Rome. |
