DAY 01 - DARWIN - KAKADU
This morning we join the famous Jumping Crocodile Cruise, where your local guide will entice crocodiles to leap from the water. Continue to Kakadu National Park, where there is time for an optional scenic flight (own expense). Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre. Enjoy a guided walk to view ancient rock art and then to the top of Ubirr for magnificent views. Accommodation: Aurora Kakadu Resort. (LUNCH)

DAY 02 - KAKADU - KATHERINE
Take a guided walk at Nourlangie Rock to view Aboriginal rock art. Continue to the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre, before joining a cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. This afternoon travel to Pine Creek and on to Katherine. Overnight Mercure Inn, Katherine. (LUNCH)

DAY 03 - KATHERINE - DARWIN
Cruise through magnificent Katherine Gorge and be amazed by its sheer sandstone cliffs. Inspect the National Park Information Centre. Continue to the beautiful setting of Edith Falls, where there will be an opportunity to take a refreshing swim (conditions permitting) and later visit the Adelaide River War Cemetery, before returning to Darwin.

Enjoy a full day escorted tour of the world heritage protected Kakadu National Park.
Travel on the Arnhem Highway across the Adelaide River & Marrakai Plains where a wide selection of native wildlife has made their home. Stop at Nourlangie Rock where your guide will lead a walk to view ancient Aboriginal rock art. After lunch, cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong and search for salt water crocodiles and the colourful range of bird life renowned in this region. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and view the informative displays depicting the traditions of the Aboriginal people in Kakadu, before returning to Darwin.

Discover the Table Top Range, an ancient sandstone plateau & view giant magnetic termite mounds. View Florence Falls from a lookout high above the falls then descend the stairs to the plunge pool below. Continue to Tolmer Falls where you take a short walk to be rewarded with spectacular views. After a picnic lunch at Wangi Falls, time is available for a swim before returning to Darwin.

Depart Cullen Bay Marina on the magnificently fully restored pearl lugger, Anniki & travel to the sheltered waters of the inner Darwin Harbour. Enjoy the silence of sail as Anniki glides through the calm waters passing the sights of Darwin Harbour. Enjoy a glass of champagne and hors d’oeuvres as well as tasting the exotic pearl
