Tours & excursions included: 

·       Drive to Hierapolis stopping in Laodicea. Laodicea is supposed to have been named by the Antiochus II in honor of his wife, Laodicea, and is the place from where St. Paul wrote a letter to the Church

·       Excursion to Konya – or ancient Inconium – which became an important Christian city following St. Paul’s preaching. St. Paul made two more stops in Konya on his second and third journeys

·       Half day guided tour of Pamulake, a noted ancient spa where pure white travertines form frozen waterfalls

·       Guided tour of Aphrodisias, the city of the Goddess of love, visiting the well known preserved Stadium, the Odeon and the Agora

·       Visit to the house of Virgin Mary in the famous ancient city of Ephesus and its archeological museum

·       Excursion to Sardis, strongly influenced by the Christianity since early times and included in the Seven Churches of Apocalypse. Visit to the Synagogue, the Gymnasium, the Byzantine Church and the Temple of Artemis

·       Excursion to Pergamos to visit the Acropolis and Asclepius, and Troy, the site of the great Greek legend of the Trojan Horse

·       Cross the sea of Dardanelles and arrive in Istanbul. Guided tour of Istanbul visiting the Aghia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Bosporus
